And if there’s one thing I have realized, it is that trends go around in circles. What was out two decades ago might become the latest design. Perhaps your design is not out-of-date, perhaps it is a look into the future!

Just like the rest of our homes, it’s essential to create a space for our little ones that reflects their personality and needs. Designing a kid’s room is a wonderful opportunity to get creative and think outside the box.

The best part is that it does not need to flow with the rest of the house. This is their haven, their safe place; and should evolve with their evolving personality. Don’t be afraid to bring in fun colors, playful patterns and interactive elements that will inspire their imagination and make them feel ‘at home’.
